We spent a good few hours on the beautiful Cuverville Island just watching the penguins.
After leaving the island we headed to Port Lockroy on Goudier Island. Port Lockroy is a dedicated museum run by the British, with two to three people spending 4 to 6 month's on the island during summer, and there only chance to escape in that time is if a friendly tourist ship invites them aboard. Just off Port Lockroy a huge iceberg drifted around, the size of a ship in itself!
