We landed in Bangkok at the start of our around the world trip. We first headed down to the little island of Ko Samet for a relaxing week before heading north to Chang Mai. We then went to the chilled town of Pai before going on a 4 day trek/rafting trip which took us into the hills where the hill tribes reside. We then headed to the border to take us into Laos. We entered Thailand again after Cambodia where we spent a few days in Bangkok before heading down to the island of Ko Lanta and then on to Malaysia.
