We finally shook off the rain clouds about 500km north of Perth at the scenic Kalbarri National Park, and things kept hotting up as we continued to climb the coast towards the Tropic of Capricorn. We drove for a mere two hours out of our way to see the Dolphins of Monkey Mia, stayed one night and then continued to the next destination. We found fanastic crystal clear beaches and tropical fish at Cape Range, outback gorge country at Karijini and finally flopped to a standstill to watch the camels by sunset in Broome 2500km up the road!
