We woke up on the fourth morning to the sound of icebergs scraping down the side of the ship. By 5am we were up on the ships bridge looking out upon a trully amazing sight - a sea full of icebergs as far as we could see!
We weaved our way through the icebergs to our first landing of the day, Paulet Island. Paulet Island was lovely, it was full of Adelie penguins - over 60,000 of them. We spent a few hours walking amongst our feathered little friends before taking a spin around the icebergs on the inflatables. It was snowing with penguins hoping on and off icebergs - an amazing memory and one of the most beautiful moments!
Our afternoon landing at the Argentinian 'Esperanza' station was cancelled after a huge barrier of ice blocked our path!
